Keara Forrest
Communications Liaison
Keara hails from Sacramento, California where she was born and raised and moved to Fort Collins from Austin, Texas in 2018. She attended Front Range Community College where she received her Associates degree in Biological Anthropology with a focus in forensics. While studying at CSU she found her passion in veterinary medicine working as a receptionist and vet assistant at a general practice clinic. In her spare time Keara volunteers at Animal Friends Alliance taking care of and providing snuggles to adoptable cats. She enjoys bad movies, 80s music, and taking care of her many houseplants. Keara is excited to be joining the Red Sage family and do her part in helping animals live a happy and pain-free life.
Jennae Miler

Communications Liaison
Jennae grew up in Conifer, and relocated to Northern Colorado for college. She graduated with a degree in Natural Resource, Recreation & Tourism from CSU. She has been working in various veterinary adjacent positions for the last 10 years and has found her niche as the Communications Liaison at Red Sage. She and her husband have two young children, two dogs, and probably too many houseplants. In her limited free time, she enjoys reading, breweries, biking and crafting.
Emily Nordengren
Communications Liaison
Emily was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio but has been living out west amongst the mountains since 2016. She studied English at The Ohio State University before realizing that she wanted to work with animals for the rest of her life. She has been working in the veterinary field since 2012 and hasn’t looked back. Emily and her dog, Mabel, just recently moved to the Fort Collins area from Jackson Hole, Wyoming and are thoroughly enjoying their new home. In her free time, Emily enjoys mountain biking, hiking, yoga, gardening and doing puzzles. She can’t wait for the world to open back up to see live music, go dancing and travel!
